Here are two students getting ready for the same test. One is great at algebra but keeps missing grammar questions. The other is the exact opposite. Most test prep gives them both the same book, the same practice sets, in the same order. So each of them spends hours on things they already know, and not nearly enough on the things they don't.
AccelaStudy AI does it differently. It's test prep for the SAT®, the ACT®, and the PSAT/NMSQT® that learns from every answer, and keeps rebuilding each student's study plan around what they need next. Here's how it works, step by step.
Let's follow one student. We'll call her Maya. Maya starts with a short placement check: a few questions to find where she is right now. From there, AccelaStudy AI keeps a map of every skill on the test. What Maya has mastered. What still needs work. And what she learned a while ago and is starting to forget. Every answer she gives updates that map, right away.
Using that map, AccelaStudy AI plans each study session around the activities that will make the biggest difference right now. For Maya today, that means rebuilding a skill she keeps missing, reviewing one that's starting to fade, and a quick check on one she's strong in, so it stays that way. As she answers, the map changes, and so does the plan.
Now let's follow one question all the way through. Here's a typical SAT math problem: x² + 5x + 6 = 0. What are the solutions?
Maya picks A: x = −1 or x = −6. That's not right. A lot of test prep would stop there: mark it wrong, show the answer, move on. AccelaStudy AI looks at how Maya got it wrong. To solve this by factoring, you need two numbers that multiply to 6 and add to 5. Answer A comes from 1 and 6. They multiply to 6. So far, so good. But they add to 7, not 5.
So Maya knows the method. She found a pair that multiplies to 6, then skipped the second check. The gap isn't quadratics as a whole. It's one smaller skill underneath: finding the pair that works both ways.
So AccelaStudy AI walks her through it. Pairs that multiply to 6: 1 and 6 add to 7. 2 and 3 add to 5. That's the pair.
So the equation factors into (x + 2)(x + 3) = 0. If two things multiply to zero, one of them has to be zero. So x = −2 or x = −3.
That's answer B. And you can check it: (−2)² + 5(−2) + 6 = 4 − 10 + 6 = 0.
And if Maya wants the whole lesson on this topic, it's one tap away.
Next, Maya gets a new problem aimed at that exact skill: x² + 8x + 12 = 0. Three pairs multiply to 12, but only 2 and 6 add to 8. This time, she gets it. One missed question turned into exactly the practice Maya needed.
Getting it right once doesn't mean it will stick. Memory fades. So a few days later, factor pairs come back. A new problem, the same idea, right around when Maya would start to forget it. As the skill gets stronger, the reviews spread further apart, until it's solid.
AccelaStudy AI also knows when a new course overlaps with something a student has already studied, even in another subject. It shows which of their other courses carry over, and by how much. With one click, it pre-loads the concepts they've already mastered, shows about how many hours that saves, and points their study time at what's new. And if they turn out to be rustier than expected, their answers show it, and the plan adjusts.
Here's a simple example. A student has already studied chemistry, then starts a physics course. The student already knows the gas laws from chemistry. AccelaStudy AI credits those skills in the physics study plan, so their study time goes to what's actually new.
Along the way, Maya can see her progress: which skills are solid, which still need work, and how her readiness is trending toward test day. AccelaStudy AI estimates how ready she is, so she can tell when she's truly ready to take the test, instead of guessing.
AccelaStudy AI Test Prep is available now, with courses for the SAT, the ACT, and the PSAT/NMSQT: math, reading and writing, English, and science.
There are more than 49,000 practice questions. No student should have to work through all of them. The point is finding the right ones for you.
More exams and professional certifications are on the way.

A few things to know
Does every course include every feature?
The shared learning experience connects the products, while activities, exam tools, and readiness displays depend on the course. Open a course’s Activities tab to see what is included.
Does a readiness forecast guarantee an exam result?
No. It is an estimate based on practice evidence, meant to help you plan. It does not replace official exam requirements or your own judgment.
Can I study more than one course?
Yes. Enroll in the courses available to your product, manage them from your dashboard, and study their Autopilot plans together in one session as a Formation.
Can I choose how the app looks?
Yes. Light and dark modes are available in the app. This tour includes current captures in both themes.
