The structure

Two Sections.
Two Modules Each.
The Second One Depends on the First.

Reading and Writing runs 64 minutes; Math runs 70.
Each is split into two modules, and your performance on module one sets the difficulty of module two.
That is the whole design, and it is why a fixed practice test measures something the real exam no longer is.

The practical consequence: your score depends not just on how many questions you get right but on which module you route into — and the only way to rehearse that is against something that routes you. A printed test cannot. A fixed bank of eight PDFs cannot. Practice here is generated per attempt and adapts mid-section, so the pacing pressure you feel in week three is the pacing pressure you will feel in the test center.

What practice feels like

Roughly a quarter are student-produced responses, where there is nowhere to guess from. The gap map treats a missed system-of-equations question and a missed exponential-growth question as different failures, because they are.

Scoring

What the Number Means

Each section scores 200–800 and the two add to a 400–1600 total.
Where that lands you depends entirely on the schools on your list, so treat the bands below as orientation and your list as the target.

Digital SAT total score bands and what they generally indicate
Score	What it generally means
1400–1600	Competitive at highly selective institutions. Above roughly 1500 the marginal point buys less than the rest of the application does.
1200–1390	Comfortably above the national median and in range for most selective public flagships.
1000–1190	Around the national middle. This is the band where a focused eight weeks moves the number most.
400–990	Foundations are the fastest gain. Broad drilling wastes the weeks; the gap map is worth more here than anywhere else on the scale.

How the Course Handles the SAT

Most prep fails in the same place: it can tell you that you are weak in Math, and cannot tell you which of the 76 Math skills is doing the damage.

Every practice test is new

Sections are generated per attempt from the blueprint, so there is no bank to memorize and no answer pattern to learn. Take the same section eight times and you take eight different sections.

A projected score, not a percentile

A section-level score projection with a confidence band, updated every session and aimed at the date you actually booked. Watch it move; that is the point.

A plan built backwards from test day

Autopilot plans to your registered date rather than to a generic eight-week calendar — and rebuilds when finals week eats four days, which it will.

SAT Questions

Is this built for the digital SAT or the old paper one?

The digital one. The paper SAT was retired in the United States in 2024 and internationally in 2023; the content domains, section lengths, and the two-module adaptive structure here are all the current digital format. If a course you are comparing still talks about a no-calculator math section, it is describing a test that no longer exists.

How many practice tests do I get?

There is no number, because there is no bank. Full-length sections are generated on demand from the blueprint, so you can take as many as your schedule allows. This is the single largest difference between this and every fixed-bank course on the market.

Does the practice actually adapt inside a section, like the real test?

Yes. Module two is selected from how you performed in module one, which is what the real exam does. It matters more than it sounds: pacing on an easier module two is a different problem from pacing on a harder one, and only one of them is worth rehearsing for your target score.

Can I prepare for the SAT and the ACT at the same time?

Yes, and it is cheaper in hours than it looks. Both are in the same subscription and the engine transfers proven skills between them, so the second test starts from what the first already established rather than from nothing.

Do you do the essay?

There is no essay on the digital SAT. It was discontinued in 2021. Some states still administer an SAT with an essay through school-day testing — check with your school, because that is a state contract rather than a College Board default.

Do you register me for the test?

No. Registration, fee waivers, accommodations, and test-center assignment all run through College Board. We prepare you for the exam; they decide when and where you take it.

What if my score prediction is lower than I want?

That is the prediction working. It arrives early enough to be a plan rather than a verdict — the gap map underneath it names the specific skills between you and the number, ranked by how many points each is worth.
